Office chair (Gispen model 353), swivel and height adjustable with a round seat and adjustable back to the design of W.H. Gispen. The base of the chair is a standard four-column base. The chair stands in the living room of Sonneveld House and was used by Mr. A.H. Sonneveld. The house was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
