Ceiling Lamp (Giso Model 168)
Ceiling lamp (Giso model 168) with a chromed metal base, a cylindrical opal (Giso) glass balloon and two cut and partially frosted glass discs in two sizes. The lamp was designed by W.H. Gispen. The lamp hangs in the studio of house Sonneveld.
The house was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
