Teapot in metal insulating cap
Cream-colored, egg-shaped teapot. The porcelain pot has a silver-plated hammered metal warming cap with felt insulation. The teapot is in the serving room of Sonneveld House and is part of a dinner service.
The residence was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
