Soup plate
Ivory deep plate with silver-plated rim, marked 'Pirken-Hammer, Czechoslovakiaen'. The plate was part of a set of three soup plates from the daily service of the Sonneveld family and was purchased from the Jungerhans firm in Rotterdam.
The residence was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
