Original tubular steel table. The table is a unica model by Gispen, with a base of chromed metal legs with castings attached to a black painted steel frame. The table has a plywood top with a chromed metal edge. The table has a linoleum finish. The table stands the household room (on the north side) of House Sonneveld. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
