Desk (Gispen Model 602)
Replica of a desk (Gispen model 602) in the studio of house Sonneveld. The desk has a chromed steel base, a black painted wooden drawer block, a plywood top and a chromed brass edge. The stand has a glass plate on a chrome-plated tubular steel frame with imitation rubber anti-scratch rings. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
