Dressing chair
Dressing table chair in the master bedroom of Sonneveld House. The chair, with tubular steel frame, was upholstered in reupholstery. The original fabric was a Wool Repp BH 1211 (yellow). The yellow color is by artist Bart van der Leck. The original fabric was supplied in 1933 by Metz & Co, in Wool repp, "a strong wool rib fabric for furniture upholstery. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
