Wooden coat hanger with the inscription "Holland-America Line" on one side. The coat hanger belongs to the Sonneveld family. Mr.A.H. Sonneveld was one of the directors of the Van Nelle factory and regularly traveled with the Holland America Line to the United States, purchasing tobacco for Van Nelle. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
