Tomb fence

Grave fence of forged iron, consisting of four sections that can be joined to form a rectangle. The fence consists of a succession of posts crowned with floral motifs, at the bottom of the rule is a motif of leaves and flowers that recurs per bay. The front shows a shield. The fence is painted black but one can see here and there the reddish-brown iron render (primer). The grave fence was designed by H.P. Berlage and was intended for the grave of the daughter of his sister-in-law Bienfait.
