Design for rectangular chimney piece. The design consists of rectangular, colored shapes in blue, yellow, red, black, green and purple on a white background. Some of the shapes overlap. The surfaces have black borders, each side varying in thickness. The chimney piece was initially to be a tile tableau. Eventually, the composition was executed in glass mosaic.
