Garnier, Jean Louis Charles
Charles Garnier was born 06.11.1825 and died 03.08.1898. He was a French architect of neo-classicalism and neo-baroque. He received his education at the "École des beaux arts", won the Grand prix de Rome in 1848. He traveled in the Mediterranean until 1853. After returning to Paris, he became an architect in two arrondissements.
