Haussmann, Georges Eugène
Born 27.03.1809. Died 12.01.1891. Initially he was a lawyer. From 1853-1870 prefect of the department of the Seine, in which position he directed the new urban development plans of Paris. From 1877-1881 he was a member of the chamber of the Bonapartist party.
