Maillart, Robert
Robert Maillart was born February 6, 1872 in Bern and died April 5, 1940 in Geneva. He studied at the Eidgenössischen Polytechnikum in Zurich from 1890 - 1894 and received sentence diploma as "Bauingenieur". In the years 1912 - 1919 he worked in Russia. From 1919 Maillart had his own engineering firm.
