Ric Mather was born in 1937. Educated architecture in the U.S., and urban planning at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, where he later taught, as well as at the Bartlett School and at the Polytechnic of Central London. He worked at various firms in the US and London before founding Ric Mather Architects in London in 1972.
