In 1957, the firm name was expanded to include the name of J.H.M. Kirch: Van der Laan Hermans Van der Eerden and Kirch. Kirch, incidentally, had taken the course in "church architecture" in 's-Hertogenbosch in the early 1950s. After Van der Laan's death in 1966, the name changes to Architectenbureau Kirch, Hermans Van der Eerden. Because of hospital construction in Brabant, another name change follows in 1975. The firm's name changed to Architecten Combinatie Leiden 's Hertogenbosch. The management consisted of the Leiden architects J.H.M. Kirch and H. Blansjaar and the architects F. Louwers and G. Timmers from Bosche. In 1985 the Architecten Combinatie Leiden 's Hertogenbosch was disbanded by J.H.M. Kirch (1919-1998).
