Beusekom, Hendrik Gerrit van
Hendrik Gerrit van Beusekom (born 1893) studied at the Technical High School in Delft. In 1920 he obtained his doctorate with the thesis "Beschouwingen over den woningnood".
After his studies, he chose an official career at the Housing Inspectorate. Van Beusekom developed into an expert in the field of public housing. He lectured and published regularly on numerous temporal issues, defending a Christian-social point of view. In 1947 he was appointed extraordinary professor of public housing in Delft and in 1954 a council advisor at the Ministry of Reconstruction and Public Housing.
