Jan Plas [sr.], architect HBO at Purmerend, 1902 - 1960. Great fame for Town Hospital in Purmerend (1940). Further bus station and schools in Purmerend. Hundreds of houses in Volendam, Weesp, Nederhorst den Berg and many villas in Bergen (NH) and Egmond as well as Klein Zwitserland in Schoorl.
In 1960 the office was taken over by the son ir Jan Plas [jr.] (1932 - ), architect ETH (Zurich CH). Over the years the office was moved to Weesp and later Loenersloot and joined the office a younger son : Franklin Plas (1947 -), architect.
