Neutelings Riedijk Architects
Neutelings Riedijk Architects is an architectural firm based in Rotterdam. It was founded in 1992 by Willem Jan Neutelings and Michiel Riedijk. The firm has realized a number of important buildings with a cultural slant in the Netherlands and Belgium. The firm has also competed in a number of international design competitions.
Neutelings Riedijk Architects' earlier work mainly includes housing and functional buildings such as office buildings, fire stations and hotels. Gradually they added buildings for public and cultural institutions such as museums, libraries, cultural centers, concert halls, and educational institutions. Their best-known designs include the Museum aan de Stroom in Antwerp (2010), the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum (2006), the Shipping and Transport College in Rotterdam (2005), and the cultural houses Rozet in Arnhem (2013) and the Eemhuis in Amersfoort (2013).
