L.G. Driessen (1862 (about) - 1957) Ir. G.L. Driessen was director of Gemeentewerken in Leiden. He held this position until his retirement. A well-known design by his hand is the Sanatorium for the Mentally Ill (1900-1903), Rhijngeesterstraatweg 13, Oegstgeest (later Jelgersmakliniek; still later town hall Oegstgeest; see also http://www.gem-oegstgeest.nl/rhijngeest/geschiedenis.html).After his retirement, ir.
