B.H. Beyderwellen (1849-1938) B.H. (Barend Hendrik?) Beyderwellen (born 1849) was a typical nineteenth-century carpenter-contractor-architect. In 1861 he entered classes at the Academy of Arts and Technical Sciences in Rotterdam. Little else is known about his life, but his archives contain drawings and correspondence about all sorts of small renovations of stores and houses in Rotterdam. His son B.D. (Barend Dirk?) Beyderwellen also attended the Academy of Visual Arts and Technical Sciences. The archive contains training drawings by B.D. Beyderwellen from the period 1905-1912. By the 1920s, the firm was known as B.H. Beyderwellen and Son. The most recent records in the archive date from 1956. Nothing further is known about the fate of the firm.
