Author describes the building history of the Dom tower in Utrecht and the repair works from 1790 onwards. The architects P.J.H. Cuypers, C. Muysken and ir. F.J. Nieuwenhuis form the Commission in charge of repairs to the Dom Tower in 1901. In 1919, Nieuwenhuis is succeeded as secretary of the Commission by L.N. Holsboer. In 1921, the chairman of the Cuypers Commission is succeeded by C.P. Posthumus Meyes. In 1922, ir. G.W. van Heukelom is appointed to the Commission in place of Muysken. In 1923, Posthumus Meyes is succeeded as chairman of the Commission by J.A.G. van der Steur. The author describes the restoration to the Michaelskapel and Egmondkapel in the Dom Tower in Utrecht and describes the construction of the entrance building to the Dom Tower in 1928.
