This article describes, on the occasion of the reopening, the enlargement and renovation of the restaurant (photos interior) of the Bouwcentrum in Rotterdam to a design by architect J.W.C. Boks. The interior was designed by a team from the Bouwcentrum led by Architect H.O. Eckardt. Also in the interior are works of art:murals by painters W.A. Brekelmans and D. Huizer and an iron sculpture by sculptor J.G. Schilthuizen. At the time of the opening, there was a non-permanent painting exhibition by Rotterdam artist V.H. Elenbaas.
