Building in the Wieringermeerpolder
Description of the first buildings in the Wieringermeerpolder namely Slootdorp and Middenmeer. This article is part of theme issue 5 on the Wieringermeer. In addition to floor plans and photographs, building profiles, area and cost statements of housing construction are also published. Construction began in 1931 after August 21, 1930, the 1st Zuiderzeepolder Wieringermeer was drained. The first to be built were 20 workers' houses by architect J.F. Berghoef in Slootdorp.
