Date published 07-06-1967. This article describes the Youth Hostel "De Windroos" in Rotterdam designed by architect J.W.C. Boks, architect W. Eijkelenboom and architect A. Middelhoek. The decision to build the youth hostel was made in 1954, but due to setbacks, construction could only begin in 1961. The building (exterior photos, interior photos, site plan, floor plans, cross-sections) will be able to accommodate 160 people in small dormitories with 8 beds and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
