Date published 28-11-1964. This article, a commentary by the architects, architectural firm J.W.C. Boks, W. Eijkelenboom and A. Middelhoek, describes the Youth Hostel "De Windroos" designed by them in Rotterdam. The decision to build the youth hostel was made in 1954, but due to setbacks, construction could not begin until 1961. The building (photo exterior, photos interior, site plan, floor plans, cross-sections) will be able to accommodate 160 people in small dormitories with 8 beds and is equipped with the most modern facilities. The construction was carried out by A.C.B. Coöperatieve Vereniging "Arbeiders Coöperatie voor het uitvoeren van Bouwwerken Rotterdam" U.A. in Rotterdam.
