Middelhoek describes the Sociëteit Minerva they designed in Leiden. The old society had been largely destroyed by fire on December 2, 1959, and the aforementioned architectural firm was commissioned to rebuild, repair and expand the building. So it became new construction. The article describes the layout and function of the building (photo exterior, photos interior, site plan, floor plans, cross-sections). The design years were 1961-1962 and construction was carried out between 1963-1964.
