Woonhuis Boevé (1933), Museumpark 9 in Rotterdam, was designed by architects Brinkman and van der Vlugt in the style of Het Nieuwe Bouwen. The client was doctor Mr. H.J. Boevé. The Boevé residence is a national monument and is currently used as an office. Mr. Boevé commissions architects Brinkman and Van der Vlugt in 1931 to design a detached practice house on a plot opposite Museum Boijmans in the new villa park Dijkzigt. It will be an unusual compact house with a steel frame, built in six months for 40,000 guilders. The house is elevated in the middle of the plot with a small garage loose at the back of the property. On the first floor is the practice room the living room, dining room, kitchen and children's room with terrace on the street side. On the 1st floor are the bedrooms for the five sons, the master bedroom and the bathrooms. A spiral staircase leads to the roof floor with a roof terrace, gymnasium and two servants' rooms.
