Beer mug

Beer mug by K.P.C. de Bazel. The beer mug is in the display case in the dining room of Sonneveld House. The glass is part of the service B by K.P.C. de Bazel. Service B (1917-1918), like service A, is based on a narrow isosceles triangle. The services differ in that the strict triangle of service A has given way to a more curved variant. In addition, the rim of service B bends inward instead of outward. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
