Champagne cup by K.P.C. de Bazel. The champagne cup is in the display case in the dining room of the Sonneveld House. The champagne cup is part of K.P.C. de Bazel's service B. Service B (1917-1918), like service A, is based on a narrow isosceles triangle. The services differ in that the strict triangle of service A has given way to a more curved variant. In addition, the rim of service B bends inward instead of outward. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
