Set of 3 white wine glasses (from the glass service normal 'A') , in the glass case of the dining room of house Sonneveld. The service A (1916-1918) is the first complete glass service designed by De Bazel for the Leerdam Glass Factory. The glass has a ribbed, chalice-shaped balloon and is executed in clear crystal. The shape and height is identical to the wine glass. House Sonneveld was completed in 1933 and was built for the Sonneveld family to a design by the architectural firm Brinkman and Van der Vlugt. They were also responsible for the interior, working closely with W.H. Gispen.
