Studio house N. and T. Van Doesburg in Meudon; longitudinal section, and ground and second floor plan
This is a diazotype of drawing DOESAB5346+ with modifications in pencil. The three drawings of the studio dwelling are drawn one below the other. At the top are a longitudinal section where the three floors of the studio dwelling are clearly discernible. In the drawing, the load-bearing walls are indicated, as is the staircase from the first floor to the front door, which in the diazotype is on the west side of the house, but has been moved in pencil to the south side. The elevations of the floors are indicated and the length of the right part of the house. The floor plan of the second floor shows four rooms on a hallway on the right and the large studio space on the left. The overall width and length of the house are noted and the length of the studio. Furniture has been drawn in the rooms to indicate function, but these have been modified in pencil. Again, the stairs to the front door have been moved from west to south. A staircase has also been drawn from the backyard to the studio with French doors. On the bottom drawing, of the first floor, only the difference between the interior and exterior spaces is indicated. On the right side of the sheet are some sketches with calculations. At the bottom right is the project name, year and scale.
