Brusse, Johan Christiaan
J.C. (Jo) Brusse founded a publishing company in 1903, together with his brother Willem Lucas, called "WL & J Brusse Uitgevers Maatschappij." Among the many books they published were the works of their other brother M.J. (Rie) Brusse, the well-known Dutch writer and journalist.
The publishing company "WL & J Brusse Uitgevers Maatschappij" lasted until 1965.
His wife Johanna Brusse-Japikse was among the first five (5) women to graduate with a law degree from Leiden University.
