Klarenbeek, Hein

H. Klarenbeek (1915-1997) Hein Klarenbeek was born in Amsterdam in 1915 and studied at the Technische Hogeschool in Delft from 1934 to 1942, majoring in Construction and Hydraulic Engineering. Between 1950 and 1959 he worked with architect Berghoef, after which he ran an independent office until 1975. Ir. Klarenbeek carries out work mainly in Aalsmeer, Amstelveen, Amsterdam, and Muntendam, with residential houses, stores, schools, churches, offices and homes for the elderly making up the bulk of his work. One of his projects is the extension of the Rudolf Steiner School in Haarlem (1965-1967). He died in 1997.
