In this book on the arts and crafts of the Netherlands in the period 1880-1940, Eibink and Snellebrand are mentioned as follows: ' Eibink and Snellebrand's furniture was designed in the plastic and expressive style of the Amsterdam School until the mid-1920s and is one of the last expressions of this conception. They approximate the work of Kramer and show an adoption of decorative details and forms of furniture by De Klerk from the years 1915-1917. The firm also designed some rugs to match. Around 1930, the design of their furniture becomes more square and taut, with an asymmetrical construction of parts' (page 216).
