This thesis looks into a specific type of architectural configuration that gained great relevance during the third quarter of the twentieth century: the use of additive modular systems and geometrical repetitive patterns as the main compositional basis to generate architectural form and to articulate space. This way of conceiving architectural order is based on the systematic combination of equivalent spatial units in such a way that the rules of geometric iteration play a major role, both in the conception and development phase of the project and in its final materialization.
