50 years of Dutch building
Date published 13/20-12-1958. This special theme issue of Bouwkundig Weekblad is an overview of Dutch architecture of the last 50 years, compiled by architect J.H. van den Broek, with the cooperation of architect J. Boot, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the B.N.A.. The piece provides a brief introduction and brief description of developments in Dutch architecture and otherwise consists mainly of photographs of selected works, arranged chronologically. The following works by architect J.W.C. Boks are included: the Bouwcentrum in Rotterdam from 1949; the Delta Hotel in Vlaardingen from 1954; the Britannia Hotel in Vlissingen from 1955 and the Dutch pavilion at Expo '58 in Brussels, the latter in collaboration with architects ir. J.H. van den Broek, architect J.B. Bakema and architect G. Rietveld.

Van den Broek published photographs of one of the country houses in Bergen and the warehouse De Bijenkorf. In addition, he published a photograph of the corner solution at De Dageraad with De Klerk as designer.
