Holt describes the results of a competition held during the war by Heinekens Bierbrouwerij Maatschappij N.V. for a regional hotel in North Brabant. The winning entries, motto "Fefori Brabant" by architect J.W.C. Boks (floor plan, facade view drawings, cross-sections) and motto V.N. by architect ir. W. de Bruyn (facade view drawings, floor plans, interior view with cross-section, situation sketch) were, according to the writer, of a meager level, as were the other entries illustrated with the design with the motto "A tramp in love" by architect A.
