M.J. Muylaert
M.J. Muylaert was born in 1890. He was educated at the Kunstnijverheidsschool in Haarlem (Haarlem School for Architecture, Decorative Arts and Art Crafts) and for some time was employed as a draughtsman by ir. J.B. van Loghem.
From 1928 to 1936 he was associated with Verspoor. Together with Van Loghem he built the Sportfondsenbad in Haarlem in 1934.
From 1952 until the 1960s, Muylaert worked for the Merkelbach and Elling firm of architects, where he was involved with housing in Katwijk and the construction of the VARA studio and the GAK building in Amsterdam. On his own, he built, among other things, a country house in Noordwijk.
