Married to Carolina Giesberts. (...) Zwiers attended the H.B.S. in Amsterdam and then enrolled as a student at the Technische Hogeschool in Delft. For a year he served as assistant to Prof. J.A.G. van der Steur. In 1923 he was awarded the engineering diploma and established himself as an independent architect in Haarlem. Also in the same year he was appointed teacher at the Hague Academy, which position he held until 1932.
